Pricing and Transparency
At [Your Plumbing Company Name], we believe in being upfront and transparent about our pricing. Below, we’ve outlined how our charges work to ensure you’re fully informed:
Materials
We source materials at trade prices and apply a standard 20% markup to cover handling and procurement.
Variable Costs
Some issues we’re called out to address may have multiple underlying causes, making it difficult to provide a fixed cost upfront. In such cases, we’ll conduct a thorough investigation to identify and resolve the problem as efficiently as possible.
Quotes and Site Visits
We’re happy to provide quotes free of charge unless a site visit is necessary.
- For site visits, a small fee of £25 + VAT will be invoiced beforehand to cover our time and travel expenses.
- If you decide to proceed with the work, this fee will be fully discounted from your final invoice.
Call-Out Charges
For work such as diagnosing faults (plumbing, heating, gas, or drainage), we charge:
- £90 + VAT minimum call-out fee, which covers the first hour.
- £45 + VAT per additional half-hour thereafter (rates may vary for Central London).
We’re happy to provide an estimate of the time required for your job before starting work.
Parking Costs
If parking isn’t available or a permit cannot be provided, any parking fees incurred will be added to your final invoice.
